Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using AgroSid's precision agriculture platform, services, APIs, datasets, or any associated tools ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Service Description

AgroSid provides AI-powered precision agriculture solutions including but not limited to:

• Drone-based aerial imaging, seeding, and precision spraying operations.
• AI diagnostic tools for crop disease detection and yield estimation (Diagnostic Engine, Crop Health API).
• Irrigation mapping and 3D hydrological modeling.
• Research-grade agricultural datasets for model training and benchmarking.
• Edge-deployable AI models for on-device crop analysis.

3. User Responsibilities

• You agree to provide accurate information when requesting services or submitting data for processing.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have legal rights to any agricultural land data or imagery submitted to our platform.
• You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from our AI models or APIs.
• You agree not to use our Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable agricultural or data protection regulations.

4. Intellectual Property

All AI architectures (including PlantCareNet, BananaSqueezeNet, SugarcaneShuffleNet), trained models, software, and proprietary algorithms are the exclusive intellectual property of AgroSid. Published research papers remain subject to their respective journal licensing terms.

Open datasets released by AgroSid (such as BananaLSD and PlantVillageVQA) are provided under their specified open-source licenses and may be used in accordance with those terms.

5. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all agricultural data, imagery, and operational information you submit to our platform. AgroSid does not claim ownership over your input data. Processed outputs (diagnostic reports, NDVI maps, yield predictions) generated by our Services are licensed to you for your operational use under your active service agreement.

6. API Usage

If you access our Services via API (Crop Health API or related endpoints):

• You agree to respect rate limits and usage quotas defined in your service agreement.
• API keys are confidential and must not be shared or embedded in client-side code.
• We reserve the right to suspend access for excessive or abusive usage patterns.

7. Service Accuracy & Disclaimers

While our AI models are built on peer-reviewed research and achieve high diagnostic accuracy (98%+ in validated conditions), the Services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Specifically:

• AI-generated diagnoses and predictions are advisory and should not replace professional agronomic consultation.
• Drone operation accuracy is subject to environmental conditions, GPS signal quality, and equipment calibration.
• Yield estimations are statistical forecasts and may vary from actual harvest outcomes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AgroSid shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services, including but not limited to crop loss, equipment damage, or operational disruption, regardless of the cause of action or the theory of liability.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship at any time with written notice. Upon termination, you may request export of your data in standard formats within 30 days. After this period, we reserve the right to delete stored data in accordance with our data retention policies.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, followed by binding arbitration if necessary.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance.
